Advanced Wreck Diver
This two day course teaches divers in the proper equipment, techniques, skills and procedures required to perform advanced wreck diving including penetration and line reel use.
The course provides the training and experience to competently conduct advanced wreck dives. This program includes penetration skills and techniques. Depths shall not exceed the level in which the diver is trained and competent, but in no case shall the maximum depth in this program exceed fifty five (55) msw. The objective of this course is to train divers in the proper techniques, equipment requirements and hazards of wreck diving.Please note that we do not run this course in quarries or on the James Egan Layne, it will be from a hard boat on a proper wreck such as the Sallsette, not messing about on some pile of plates in the harbour !
Includes: Advanced Wreck Manual & Certification. It excludes gases and boat fees.
Pre-requisites: Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent, Basic Nitrox or equivalent, 50 logged dives, minimum 18 years of age.
