Specialist Advice and Training

We have experience in every type of equipment currently available, from free diving, to sub 1,000 meters with rebreathers, remotely operated vehicles, and mini sub’s. This gives you the ability to apply the right techniques on projects, allowing deeper depths and longer durations where the need is required.
Safety Consultancy
As experienced HSE media diving contractors we know that even a small underwater shoot can come with an alarming amount of paperwork to meet the risk assessments demanded by your insurers, and to keep it legal, productive and safe.
You know what you want to make, and we can tailor our ability to meet your needs with current up to date help and advice. We are pre vetted diving contractors with 1st Option Safety
We will write your risk assessments and method statements in collaboration with your production team for any location either in the UK or Worldwide. We are fully insured for media diving work so you know your production is in safe hands.
Has your presenter or contributor not been in the water for a prolonged period of time? Our clients often have the need to review and consolidate the presenter’s previous training and this can be easily achieved on a one to one basis.
Want to give the shoot another angle, perhaps have the presenter dive a
rebreather? Our training can take you from basic training to enable the job to
be done, through to mixed gas. Contact us for details.
Full Face masks with Audio? No problem we can tailor bespoke training for using
this kit in a broadcast environment. Again, contact us with your training
needs.
We understand our clients often work in some of the remotest places on the planet, and in the effort to work safely, can often have the need for specialist training not usually available such as chamber operation, and diver medic training, talk to us, we can help and advise you in achieving this.

Media Support
We provide support for a host of underwater projects for a number of production companies, we are registered with the HSE as Diving Contractors as well as being pre-vetted contractors for both the BBC, ITV and 1st Option Safety.
We have just wrapped up acting as diving safety consultants for Blue Planet 2, the production teams completed 6,000 hours diving, filling 4,000 cylinders in 125 shoots in 39 countries, and what safety incidents did this cause ?
"A couple of ear infections, a stubbed camera operators finger, and a tiny puddle in the bottom of a mini sub" says Katie Hall, the production manager. All the teams working hard to reduce risk to acceptable levels and it paid off !
We offer a range of services, from background support such as simple diving equipment hire, risk assessments and consultancy through to the training of presenters and support staff, some of whom have never dived before, and working with them to become safe, productive and confident members of the dive team.
In addition, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide one to one specialist training, aimed specifically at making your job as a media diver significantly easier. With full face mask training (Guardian, Aga, Kirby Morgan or Diveways), hard-wire and through water communications, dry suit training, re-breather training with the AP Inspiration and Poseidon Mk6/7 or first aid training specific to diving all on offer, we can provide you with the training you need to efficiently get the job done, and we work around your deadlines. If you have a one off requirement, call us to discuss your needs.
We believe experience is key when choosing support for underwater projects - We have that experience, and have worked alongside some of the best in the business such as Richard Bull, of Oceanaire Diving Services, Directors of Photography such as Michael Pitts, Johnny Rogers, Doug Anderson and Rob Franklin, and personalities such as Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall, James May, Julian Clary, Miranda Krestovnikoff, Davina McCall, Jeremy Wade and Naomi Wilkinson. In addition, every two years we help supervise the Diving and Underwater Filming side of Wildscreen Festival, in Bristol.
